Mason Bee House. With Bee Babies in Mud.

A Mason Bee House is a place for mason bees to build nests. They grab spiders and stuff them into holes, pack with babies then seal with mud.

They buzz like crazy when in action - hilarious.

It is made from pine pallet timber and kanuka

  1. how did I miss seeing your post??? I do love seeing our mason bee apartments - and much more suitable places for them to nest than between the folds of our raincoats or curtains!
